The short version
AdoorX is a gateway to Northern California home search tools from the Matthew Smith Team. You can browse this site without creating an account. We collect very little, we do not sell your contact information, and if you reach out, we use what you share only to respond and help you.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you call, text, or email using the links on this site, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, and what you are looking for. We use it to respond and to provide real estate services you request.
Optional open house alerts. The live map offers an optional alert signup for open houses. If you use it, we receive the name and email address or mobile number you enter and use them to send those alerts and to follow up on your request. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe option in an email, or telling us to stop.
Saved map areas. If you draw and save a search area on the live map, it is stored only in your browser. We do not receive it.
Approximate location for the near-me feature. If you use the near-me feature, the map first asks your browser for location permission. If precise location is unavailable or declined, the map may use an IP-based approximate location from the ipwho.is service to center the map on your general area. This is used only to position the map and is not stored by us.
Analytics and advertising tools. This site can use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate usage, and advertising pixels such as the Meta pixel to measure ad performance. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers, and pixel providers may receive standard browsing signals from your visit. In addition, when you submit a lead form, the email address and phone number you enter may be sent to Google in hashed form for Google enhanced conversions, which helps measure whether our ads led to your inquiry. You can limit this with browser settings, ad blockers, and the ad preference controls offered by Google and Meta.
Hosting and map logs. The site is hosted on Netlify, and the live map view uses Mapbox tiles. Like most websites, these providers may process your IP address and standard technical request data to serve the page.
What we do not do
We do not sell your contact information.
We do not share your contact information with other businesses for their marketing.
We do not run accounts or login systems on this site. Optional features such as open house alerts use only the contact details you choose to provide, for those features and to follow up on your request. Saved map areas stay in your browser.
Text messages
If you text us, you may receive replies from Matthew Smith or his team about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP or simply telling us to stop.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we have about you, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
